Ingredients You Need

  • Packed spring mix greens – usually a combo of baby greens, spinach, arugula, or the like
  • Ripe peaches – lightly soft when squeezed, but not squishy, soft, or bruised
  • Burrata – similar to mozzarella, but a bit softer and creamier in the center
  • Fresh basil leaves – more or less to taste
  • Sliced prosciutto – optional
  • Balsamic glaze – just the right balance of sweet, tangy, and savory to bring the salad flavors together
  • Extra virgin olive oil – or other preferred neutral-flavored oil, like avocado oil
  • Salt and pepper

Burrata is an Italian cheese similar to mozzarella. It’s rich and creamy, yet light, and is more moist and soft than a traditional mozzarella.

How to Make the Best Peach Burrata Caprese Salad

Optional Prosciutto Garnish: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Tear the slices of prosciutto into 1-2 inch pieces. Lay the pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 5-6 minutes, until crisp. 

Set out a large platter. Arrange the salad greens on the platter in an even layer.
