Upon request, over the last few weeks I’ve shared my favorite places to eat and things to do in my hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

As a local in this mountain hot-spot for leaf seeking and culinary adventures, I feel like I’m definitely in-the-know on planning an Asheville Getaway.

If I were visiting this fall, I would pick one of these Asheville NC hotels… or bed and breakfasts.

ALoft Asheville

Downtown Lodging

Hotel Indigo – A towering modern hotel with views in every direction. Right on the edge of downtown, close to the Grove Arcade.

ALoft – A newer hotels with sleek modern flair. Conveniently located downtown.

Hyatt Place Asheville – Fresh and modern lodging with mountain views galore!

The Lofts at 16 Church – Looking to rent a luxurious condo downtown Asheville? This is the place.

Haywood Park Hotel – A classic Asheville hotel, with a long-standing history of excellence.

Asheville is full of cozy romantic bed and breakfasts. Take a look and see which one suits you best.

1900 Inn on Montford – Just north of downtown in Montford. Raving reviews.

The Lion & the Rose – North of downtown in Montford, with lush gardens all around.

Crooked Oak Mountain Inn – Tucked in the trees with beautiful mountain views.

Cedar Crest Inn – Old world charm at it’s best!

Albemarel Inn – A local favorite for weekend stay-cations.

1889 WhiteGate Inn & Cottage – ANother local favorite for in-town pampering. The rooms and gardens are sublime.

Applewood Manor – Light airy rooms and lots of charm. Just north of downtown in Montford.

Beaufort House – Accommodations include all sorts of little touches.

Chestnut Street Inn – Quaint and close to downtown.

Around Town Favorites

These Asheville NC hotels may not be right downtown, but they offer a lot of appeal to make your trip extra special!

Inn on Biltmore Estate – This is one of the primo places to stay in Asheville with access to all the activities on the Biltmore Estate.

Grand Bohemian Hotel – Just outside the Biltmore Estate, this cozy boutique hotel offers mountain elegance, fine dining, and is conveniently located in Biltmore Village.

Grove Park Inn – Best known for it’s breath-taking views and world-class spa. The Grove Park Golf Course is pretty spectacular as well!

The Residents at Biltmore – Looking for condo rentals? These condos get rave reviews, with a full kitchen and beautiful pool area.

Homewood Suites by Hilton – New, clean, and right on Tunnel Road for easy access to everything!

On a tight budget? Try one of these economy hotels. They offer the biggest bang for the buck, and are great for large families.

  3. We stay in Black Mountain and also the Downtown Inn and Suites….Do not turn noses up at Downtown Inn….yes, I know it picked on… yes, it is old, but it is clean, safe, affordable and SOOOO convenient ! We never had a bad night there.
