Having well-planned storage solutions in your home is a great way to remove stress from daily life. Over the last couple years we’ve made quite a few adjustments to our old home, that have greatly improved our quality of life.
We’ve remodeled our kitchen, turned our detached garage into my office/photography studio, updated a small bathroom, and rebuilt our screened in porch. All these, ahem… little changes have made home-life calmer, more efficient, and easier to enjoy.
The greatest changes that affect our lives for the better took place in our kitchen and office.
Before, my kitchen was laid out for people that didn’t really cook. Appliances were in strange places and there weren’t nearly enough cabinets to store my kitchen gear.

We have the pull-out trash cans in a cupboard feature, and I love it! Keeps the trash out of sight! I also would love to upgrade our pantry with those pull-out shelves! What a great idea!
