Set out a large mixing bowl. Place washed and trimmed green beans in the bowl. Then drizzle olive oil over the top, followed by a sprinkling of garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to make sure the oil and seasoning have completely coated the green beans.
Dump the green beans into the hot air fryer basket. Close and air fry for 5-6 minutes for thin French-style green beans, or 6-7 minutes for thicker green beans. If using frozen green beans, air fry for 8-10 minutes. Make sure to shake the basket once halfway through cooking. Taste, then salt and pepper as needed. Serve warm.

Cooked green beans will keep well for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Although they will start to lose their tender bite after a few days.Reheat them in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to get some of that snap back.
