Just finished our brunch……this sausage gravy recipe is the best!!! I toasted  english  muffins, placed scrambled eggs on top and topped it all with this awesome gravy!!!

I made this recipe, and it took me back to my childhood in Mom’s kitchen…It tastes very close to her biscuits and gravy…My brother was the only who could come close until now, that is!! I am so grateful for this recipe I lost my brother a couple of months ago…and miss him dearly… but now I can make Mom’s breakfast and it will really taste like she made it… Thank you so much for such a memory reminder…God Bless!!

Sure! You can use your favorite dairy-free milk (like almond or cashew milk) and gluten-free baking mix instead of classic wheat flour. Use the same proportions for both. :)

one of the best gravy recipes that I have tried!

This recipe was extremely easy and I followed it explicitly. It would definitely receive a 5 star rating from me. I have had traditional biscuits and gravy all my life so was a little sceptical of the addition of thyme, however, it was excellent and passed with flying colors!

Been making this biscuits /gravey 62yrs I’m now 78.my grandma taught me when I was but. 9 or there bouts. Our people are Irish/Scott from look-mountain Tennessee. Thank-you for printing this old tried an true recipe.
