10-Minute Sugar Snap Peas Recipe

I love snacking on raw sugar snap peas during the day to get a crunchy food fix without busting my calorie bank. However, my favorite way to enjoy sugar snap peas (and snow peas as well) is to quickly stir fry them with sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir Fry Sugar Snap Peas are a fabulous side dish that goes with Asian dishes and many main dish proteins as well.

Need to cool things down? This is a fantastic chilled summer salad recipe, too! Refrigerate the sautรฉed (and cooled) snap peas and serve them as a cold snap pea salad.

Sugar Snap Peas vs Snow Peas: What’s the Difference?

As the name implies sugar snap peas are sweeter, and they also tend to be thicker with more crunchy snap and more flavor overall.

Yet while the texture and flavor are slightly different, both kinds of snap peas are scrumptious to make this sesame stir fry recipe!
