Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does it Take to Make Holiday Punch?
This Holiday Champagne Punch Recipe is a life-saver this time of year. It only takes two minutes to make and will keep your guests smiling right into the new year!
Can You Put this Champagne Punch in a Beverage Dispenser?
Yes you can. The fizz of the champagne will not be affected by the spigot if it doesn’t sit in the dispenser for too long. However, the longer it sits out of the pressurized bottle, the flatter the ginger beer will become. The fizz in this punch should last a couple of hours once blended.
Can I Make this Punch Ahead of Time?
You can make it ahead of time, just leave out the champagne and ginger beer until you are ready to serve it, so that the bubbles and fizz are potent, and the beverage doesn’t become flat.

I really enjoying my holiday with champagne punch! Love your Blog
What kind of champagne? Dry, brit, doesn’t matter?
Hi Jami,
Honestly, you can use whatever you prefer. It does not have to be super high-quality champagne, since you are mixing it with other ingredients.
Loved this so much! I’ll definitely be making it again for New Year’s Eve!
This tastes really good! Such a perfect holiday drink!
Huge success! Thanks so much for this detailed recipe. Your recipe has been amazing. Thank you again 🙂

Such a fun festive drink!
The cinnamon sticks add such a great spice (and decor) to this drink.
This punch was so incredible! We have made this several times and it’s always a hit!
perfect for the holidays! thanks for sharing
This punch was a HUGE hit at our Christmas open house this year!!! Luckily I bought enough for 2 batches– it went quick! As it sits out, the spices mull together and it’s really delicious and aromatic. We froze the cranberries so they doubled as ice and garnish. Perfect holiday punch!
Gorgeous looking punch! It sounds so delicious too. Can’t wait to try these, everyone will love them.
Hi! Do you use real cranberry juice or cranberry juice cocktail?
Thanks!
Hi Danielle,
You can use cranberry juice cocktail, sweetened cranberry juice, or some other variety of cranberry juice blend, like cran-apple juice.
Should I use alcoholic ginger beer or non-alcoholic?
Hi Lindsay!
I use the “grocery store” ginger beer which is non alcoholic, but you could definitely kick it up with the boozy version. :)

Happy New Year!!
Looks delicious. Can you substitute prosecco for the champagne?
Hi Lori,
Absolutely! :)
Yummy this recipe is on my to do list! xo Loren // http://www.thinkelysian.com
I made a cocktail sized version using what I had on hand (sparkling pink Moscato and Vernors) and it was still great. Will take it up a notch next time with the rum.
Great pictures, thanks and happy holidays!
Hi John,
