Being 100% Italian I can say with certainty that butter would never start a sauce. Olive oil is always used to begin the process of making sauce no matter which type you make.

I love making sauce from scratch! There is just something so cozy about it. The flavor of this sauce is excellent. We loved it over spaghetti, but can’t wait to try it with some of our other favorite Italian dishes.

Delicious and easy. I avoid the sugar by adding a few sprinkles of baking soda. Fizzes the acid right out!

Best spaghetti sauce ever!! First batch I didn’t have Italian sausage so just used ground beef, 2nd batch did a mixture and it was awesome! There’s only two of us so I froze most of it which makes for a quick dinner! Thanks for sharing!
