I’ve been eating “Chipped Beef on Baked Potatoe for years…I’m 94…We had it for dinner years ago during the depression….We make it the same tried and true recipe from way back in the day…..Love it….. A quick and tasty meal when in a rush….We always try to use the Buddig brand…it is the best one out there…..But, way back when…we used a beef from the local butcher….and Buddig had that one beat,, hands down..

Lol! Have your bland, unexciting friends bring their own bland, unexciting food! Isn’t it a shame how a couple of people dictate their silly food fetishes on everyone else?? FIX WHAT YOU WANT AND HOW YOU WANT IT! YOU RULE!

Delicious! But the spiciness just makes a dish so we added cayenne in addition to FRESH chopped jalapeños. CANNOT understand why people are scared stiff of even mildly spicy foods! Spice is delicious AND HEALTHY!

This is great! Next time though I think I will try the less dried beef or try the other meat as the dried beef made it just a little salty for me. I didn’t add any salt either. Overall though we loved it.

This is excellent! I have friends who do not like any spiciness to a dish so I’ve also made this replacing the jalapenos with peppericini when we got together. I enjoy it both ways.

Please share the recipe for the “CHIPPED BEEF CHEESE BALLS”! I have never heard of those & would love to try them. My husband loves “Chipped Beef in White Gravy” & this “Chipped Beef Spead”. I have been making the spread for a few years now. IT’S YUMMY!
