5-Minute Strawberry Pineapple Sherbet
Strawberry Pineapple Sherbet – This sherbet is pure sunshine in a bowl. It’s the perfect treat for those hot summer days when all you want is something light, refreshing, and totally delicious. We’re talking a dreamy combo of sweet strawberries and tropical pineapple, all blended into a creamy, guilt-free dessert.

Why We Love This Strawberry Sherbet
This Strawberry Pineapple Sherbet is a super quick and easy frozen treat that is much lighter than ice cream as it’s sugar-free and made with Greek yogurt rather than milk and cream. It’s the perfect guilt-free way to curb those sugar cravings!
The best part of the sherbet is that it’s actually ready to eat the moment you puree it. By blending hard frozen strawberries and frozen pineapple chunks with yogurt and sweetener, you end up with a creamy soft-serve consistency that is begging to be licked!
Ingredients You Need
I used only 6-ingredients in this tangy frozen dessert.
- Frozen strawberries
- Frozen pineapple
- Greek yogurt – plain is recommended, but vanilla can also be used if you like a sweeter sherbet
- Honey or palm syrup – or another liquid sweetener of choice
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
Pro Tip: For sweeteners you could go with honey, agave, or palm syrup. Honey is the most obvious choice, however it does add a distinct flavor to the sherbet. I actually prefer using coconut palm syrup, so the fruit flavor shines through.

Recipe Variations
- Tropical Paradise – Add a splash of coconut milk or cream of coconut for a tropical twist.
- Citrus Burst – Squeeze in some lime or orange juice for a tangy kick.
- Chunky Texture – Leave some fruit chunks for a more interesting texture.
- Add toppings – Get creative with toppings like fresh fruit, whipped cream, or toasted coconut.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t recommend it! This recipe works because the frozen fruit gives the sherbet a frozen, creamy texture. Fresh fruit would affect the texture and make it more of a smoothie consistency, which isn’t what you want in this case.
Homemade sherbet is best enjoyed fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.

I love everything about this!! I can’t wait to try this recipe!! YUM!
What a delicious and simple recipe!! My family loves it!
This looks delicious!! I’m not a fan of the taste of honey, but have never seen palm syrup. Can you find it in stores or do you need to order it from Amazon? Is there a better brand?
Hi Kristin,
Our standard grocery chain offers rice syrup, agave syrup, and palm syrup right next to the sugar in the baking aisle. Any of these would work, but if using agave I would decrease the amount according to the measurements provided on the packaging. Hope this helps!
Where or what section of the supermarket can i find the coconut palm syrup?
I would like to make this for my dad
ย He can not have dairy, yogurt ot honey. What could I use in place of those??
