How to Make Tandoori Chicken Tikka Skewers
Set out a large rimmed baking dish and fill it with water. Soak 12 wooden skewers in the water until it’s time to thread on the chicken and grill.
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-size 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces.
To a large mixing bowl, add the yogurt, tandoori masala seasoning, garlic paste, ginger paste, lime juice, and salt.
Mix well to combine.
Taste the mixture. If it doesn’t taste salty enough, add a little extra salt. *Some tandoori seasonings have additional salt already added.
Place the chicken chunks into the tandoori marinade. Mix well to coat the chicken pieces. Then cover and marinate for 30 to 120 minutes.
