Our classic simple recipe takes only 5 minutes to whip up, and consists of just 3 ingredientsโฆ Butter, honey, and salt. However, you can oomph it up by adding all sorts of herbs and spices. (We’ve got some great suggestions for easy optional add-ins below!)

How to Make Whipped Honey Butter
- First, set the butter out for 30-60 minutes so that it softens at room temperature. (This makes it way easier to whip with an electric hand mixer!) Then place the butter, honey, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Beat on high with an electric mixer until the honey and butter blend together and become very smooth and fluffy. This takes about 3 minutes, so be patient!

- Next, scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Beat again for several seconds to make sure there are no clumps.
If you are adding extra herbs or spices, now is the time to beat them into the butter.
- Serve the super smooth, creamy, and slightly warm butter immediately. Or transfer it to a container and store it in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
